Why should you join us for this Gathering?
We live in busy times where the space to connect, create and care for ourselves and each other seems to decrease everyday.  As you drive through the gates at Ingelara Farm Retreat you will be creating this space for you as you are surrounded by majestic mountains, hear the blissful sounds of the bush and feel nourished from the inside out.

Awakening Ancient Futures is a full-day immersive experience of building community, sharing culture and fostering connection to celebrate together, so that we can draw on our ancient wisdom for modern solutions towards a more sustainable, peace-filled future.

We invite you to come and spend the day and evening with us, with the Elders, the youth, healers, artists and musicians  that we have gathered to:

  • SHARE the wisdom and knowledge from across cultures

  • RECEIVE insights from the past towards a more sustainable future

  • CONNECT with nature and community

How will the day flow and what will you experience?

We warmly invite you to arrive by 9am to create time and space for you to walk the Narrangunnawali (Wellbeing) path by the lake and  perform self-blessings with the elements before the Welcome Ceremony begins at 9.30am.

You will be welcomed and guided by Ngunnawal and Ngambri Elders and Youth through song and ceremony.

Enjoy flow with the elements – fire, water, earth and air – and experience:

  • healing vibrations of sound and music

  • weaving, beading and creative expression

  • tree planting and walking the land

  • ancient and modern day archetypes through movement

  • bush foods and herbs

  • yarnin’ circles

  • traditional forms of meditation and movement

  • connection with horses

  • traditional care practices for mother earth

  • fire ceremony and musical celebration

  • Children’s activities
